The Ride

The Cross Country Ride today is one of the leading Cross Country Training Course in the South East.

The Denne Hill Cross Country Ride was established over 25 years ago following the Great Storm of 1987.

The very strong winds that hit Kent back then caused havoc to a large number of large trees, predominantly in the Park at Denne Hill. The fallen trees were, however, put to good use by being turned, in some form or another, into jumps.

The Ride Centre operates from an original timber granary building in the parking area.
This is where riders for the Cross Country ride check in and check out, as well as being a convenient place next door to the horse box where you can have a cup of tea!
